Dakin’s Solution Quarter-Strength® is a 0.125% sodium hypochlorite solution formulated for wound care and infection control. As the second-lowest concentration of sodium hypochlorite available, it provides effective antimicrobial action while remaining gentle on tissues. The buffered formulation ensures pH balance, reducing the risk of irritation and allowing safe use on skin and wounds.

This solution is effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeasts, and molds, including antibiotic-resistant pathogens such as MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and VRE (Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus). It works by disrupting microbial structures, preventing infections, and promoting wound healing. The non-irritating and non-sensitizing formula allows for repeated use without harming healthy tissues.

Dakin’s Solution Quarter-Strength® is a no-rinse formula that does not contain antibiotics, alcohol, or steroids, minimizing the risk of allergic reactions and adverse effects.
