Undyed Coated Vicryl 5-0 PS-2 18" Suture is an absorbable, braided synthetic suture composed of polyglactin 910. It is coated to enhance smooth passage through tissue, improve knot security, and reduce friction. The suture is undyed, minimizing visibility in delicate procedures where tissue contrast is essential. 

This suture is designed for general soft tissue approximation and ligation. It is suitable for ophthalmic, gynecological, orthopedic, and other procedures requiring secure tissue support during the initial healing phase. It is not indicated for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissue applications due to its absorbable nature and mechanical properties.

The PS-2 needle attached to this suture is a 3/8 circle precision reverse cutting needle, ideal for delicate, controlled tissue penetration with minimal trauma. The 18-inch suture length allows for precise, confined surgical fields and minimal waste during procedures.
