Description

The Quill Barbed Suture, PDO, 2-0, is a synthetic absorbable suture designed for precise tissue approximation without the need for knots. It features a bi-directional design with barbs that are helically arranged along the suture length, ensuring even tension distribution across the wound. This structure eliminates the need for interrupted sutures and improves surgical efficiency. The suture material, polydioxanone (PDO), provides excellent tensile strength and predictable absorption.

The reverse cutting needle included with this suture offers enhanced precision when passing through dense or fibrous tissue. The needle's 3/8 circle curvature allows for smooth penetration with minimal tissue damage. With a length of 26 mm, it ensures optimal maneuverability and control during suturing.
