Rhino Rocket® Slim Small Nasal Packing is a sterile nasal tamponade device designed for the management of anterior and middle segment epistaxis following nasal trauma, surgical procedures, or spontaneous nosebleeds. Constructed from PVA Expandacell® foam, the device provides reliable compression to assist in controlling nasal bleeding while promoting patient comfort. The compact dimensions of 1 × 3 × 3 cm make it suitable for smaller nasal passages, and its non-impregnated design allows compatibility with clinician-selected medications when required. 

The PVA Expandacell® foam rapidly absorbs moisture after insertion and expands to approximately six times its compressed diameter. This controlled expansion creates gentle yet firm mucosal compression that supports effective tamponade without excessive pressure on surrounding tissues. A patented applicator shields the foam from moisture before placement, facilitates accurate insertion, and minimizes handling during the procedure. 

An integrated retrieval string remains outside the nasal cavity to provide secure retention and simplify removal after treatment. The sterile, single-use construction helps reduce the risk of contamination while supporting infection control protocols in healthcare environments. The non-impregnated foam offers flexibility for clinicians who may choose to apply topical medications based on individual treatment requirements and institutional protocols.
