VICRYL™ Coated Braided Suture, 1, Single Arm, Ctb-1, 36" is a synthetic absorbable surgical suture composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. The suture is coated with a mixture of polyglactin 370 and calcium stearate to improve handling and knot security. Its braided construction offers superior flexibility and tensile strength, making it ideal for soft tissue approximation and ligation.

The braided structure ensures smooth passage through tissue while minimizing the risk of tearing or trauma. The coating further enhances glide and reduces tissue drag. These features enable precise and secure closure in areas where dependable knot tying and pliability are critical, such as in general, gynecological, urological, and orthopedic surgeries.

The CTB-1 needle is a 1/2 circle taper point needle specifically designed for delicate soft tissue penetration. The 36-inch suture length offers versatility for deeper or more extensive closures where longer strands are required.
